The arrangement currently being constructed at the point where the M9, N24, and M25 converge north of Waterford City features large at-grade rounabouts instead of grade separated junctions. This arrangement is poor and will undoubtedly lead to problems in the near future. A bypass of this section is required, which would join the M9 directly to the M25 with a freeflow connection, leaving the roundabouts to serve the traffic movements to and from the N24 Waterford-Limerick road. | ||||
