Dual Carriageway : 48.5 km (23.1 and 25.4 km)

A number of dual carriageway schemes are planned for the Cork-Waterford N25 road, which is also Euroroute E30. In the interests of cohesion, and to complete the strategic route to a consistent standard, it makes sense to join these disconnected sections up with around 50 km of new roadway, including the extension of the New Ross bypass east of Waterford down to Rosslare. This latter section connects with the proposed new Enniscorthy-Rosslare road.
