Forgot to add the most important rules of all, (isn’t that always the way of things) and that of course is your approach.
When ya go travelling you have to keep an open mind. We can never entirely get past our on bias but we can try to see things from another point of view, be that view racial, religious, gender based, etc. We don’t have to always agree with the view or belief or practices and we don’t have to do as another culture does if goes entirely against our own judgement but we can accept other views and practises for their own merits and try not to judge to harshly their differences.
The other rule is you can never pass a pub with your name on it without going in. This rule didn’t do myself or my bro Joseph too good in Prague but I’m sure it’ll work out better next time round.
