a weblog about girleens that travel. read of their adventures!

Kay just tried for the last hour to upload photos but I just don’t get it. Shall have to wait for my photo upload manual from website manager Kev. Ah well. Photos look pretty good. I’m not very artistic though so ye won’t be blown away by the beauty and sights we’ve seen. Didn’t take the camera out every day so missed a few beautiful spots but sure thats the way of it! Anywho we arrived in Thailand on Sunday and it is just a breeze after India. Everything is gonna be easy from here on out in comparison Lids and I think. We definately did it the right way round. Bangkok is a strange kettle of fish altogether. Kinda like a resort in Spain or something. First night Lids and I got here there was a massive party going on in the main backpacker area called Koh San and it was such a weird feeling to be in the middle of all this music and partying after India. Lids really feels like she’s on holidays now. We went to the Standing Buddha and Lucky Buddha temples on Monday, which was kool cos they’re not usually open. And of course we got some drinking in. Mostly we’ve been just trying to get our heads around the fact that we’re not getting stared at or harrassed on the street anymore. We’ve heard other people complaining about bad smells on the street but we look at each other knowingly and think they don’t know the meaning of bad smells till they’ve passed Indian urinals!

Dee joined us yesterday and we’re just over the moon to have LTD back together again and of course to have someone else to talk to. The guys are shopping in Siam Square now while I tried to upload photos. We put in our passports today for our Vietnam visas. Oh the excitement. Tis gonna be a bit of a rush in every country but ya gotta love all the adventure. Shall try again tomorrow and then update ye all again cos I’ve spent enough time here today. Hoping to catch a show in Patpong. Shall let ye know how that pans out. Thanks Kev for sending us over the photos from our model shoot. They’re kool and da gang and look deadly on the oul I River.

My goodness Tee! That is a very misleading title on the wee ickle excerpt above - I was afraid to click into it in case it held information of a nature that innocent people like my good self just should not be reading… :P
True to form good old Kev was clicking away like a mad thing the other night so methinks with photo shop and all those other strange cool devices that I have no idea how to use that we just might maybe be able to super impose you in some of the wedding photos - what thinkest you? :D

Ha ha, there’s a plan… I have the pics at any rate and I’ll make them available or put them up right here, on this very site very very soon. It’s your call Tee!

Great to see you there Laura, and indeed all the gang… The lack of Tee was very odd. I was there and not Tee. And Jess telling me that talking to me was just like having Tee there. And yet she was not. And I played the videos (the last three, anyway) with the remarkable sound of two very old rancid speakers trying desperately to reproduce the sound and excitement of Bankok. Mind you, I have a few stories and observations I’ll keep to myself for now, but they are very intriguing indeed…

Hey, you heard it here first; I’m in my new room in Los Blancheles, wirelessly connected to the Interweb from my room. Nerds will inherit the Earth, tee hee!
