a weblog about girleens that travel. read of their adventures!

Well I’ve been a busy busy bumble bee for the last week or so. Between working at an insurance company and in the Celtic Club I have been working for 8 days straight. This alone would make one tired but when coupled with several nights on the tear, a 7am bedtime on Tuesday morning, which ended up with me being 2 hours late for working at the insurance company, makes for one bollixed little lady. However, today is another day so here’s to relaxation! I’m meant to join a few people tonight at a Bar called Barry’s but I’m not really in the mood. I’m tired and Superman Returns is out so I guess its a cinema evening for me. I think the girls are working tonight. Fee has been my constant partying buddy, when we hopped in the taxi to come home on Tuesday morning I straight up conked out and she had to stay awake alone to get us home. Such is the life when you hang with an O’Reilly, eh Pops? She had a day off yesterday, which she spent pretty much in bed chillaxing. We’ve been so busy that we haven’t managed to catch up with Cheryl yet. Gonna hopefully hang out with her Sunday evening so I can finally see all the rest of the photos of the O’Higgins wedding. Another mate Rachel has suggested a trip to Phillip Island on Sunday day. I’m definitely up for it and I think Lids is off as well so mayhap we’ll have some cultural and scenic pictures for you soon enough. Probably gonna check out a belly dancing club with the crowd I worked with in the wine company tomorrow. I love belly dancing and Bollywood style dancing, even though I’m shite at it. You’d think all you have to do is wiggle your hips a bit but its truly a lot harder! The Aussie match on Tuesday morning was such a frustration. Couldn’t believe that Italian goal in the last minute. We were having a great time during the match cos everyone was in great form but soon as they lost the Aussie crowd wouldn’t cheer for their team. It astounded Fee and I cos no matter that they lost and didn’t particularly deserve to loose they’d come that far after so many years of not getting anywhere near the World Cup and the crowd couldn’t even cheer for them! Seriously sore loosers here. A couple of other Aussies agreed with us too. Lids was working the match and she said that the place was a mess afterwards with broken glass everywhere, plus some guys broke a toilet roll dispenser in the toilet after the Italian goal. I mean seriously, relax! Another of our friends Leiha did a Dee and cried when Australia lost. I still remember trying to comfort Dee when we got kicked out by the Spanish the last time. Anyway hope you’re enjoying your holidays Dee.
