How do lads and lassies? I’m finally ensconcing myself in my new abode. It’s proving difficult as there’s something to do every weekend, and when there’s not I’m too shattered to pack up my life and move it next door. However, it’s getting to that madly ridiculous phase, where, even though there’s still work to be done on the place, I want to spread my wings and get into the place I’m bloody well paying for.
Therefore, as a motivational tactic, and because I want to show off my beautiful abode to make you all insanely jealous, I cordially invite you to my house warming on Saturday 26th January 2008. By then I’ll have my fireplace & bathrooms finished, another bed in the house, some stuff lying around, and lots of food & booze for revelers (read bring some of your own in that last bit, but there should be some stuff lying around).
The party theme is Puzzles! To meet the theme criteria you may bring a puzzle, board game, card trick, riddle to the party and/or dress up as a puzzle piece or board. I already have someone dressing up as a draughts board, snakes & ladders, and maybe some connect 4 players. I’m sure Dan Bowden will have on his Twister outfit to amaze everyone. Mull the idea over and let your imagination go wild! Thanks to Keith for inspiring the theme by the completely frustrating act of myself, Tania, Ana and Jonathan trying to piece together his connecting puzzle last Saturday in Cork. Oh the fun!
