My name is Deirdre aka dee / durdra / deirge / golden girl. I’m the oldest and wisest of the group but some may disagree with the wise bit!
Unlike the tallafornia girls, I’m a northsider from Killester. I met these heads in T.I.T and couldn’t get rid of them!
1st summer of collage we decided to go to Köln to improve our German speaking skills, for the two months I was there I spoke little German, drank a lot of kolsh beer and ate a lot of aldi chocolate leaving me quit chubby faced!!
Following summer I did the J1, but not with L & T. Started East Coast Baltimore and spent a couple of days in an adorable harbour town called Annapolis. From there flew west coast on a dodgy plan (u know it kt!)to San Diego. Couldn’t get work there so got the not so comfortable greyhound up to Lake Tahoe, all very cool places.
My top city so far though has to be Barcelona. Can’t wait to go back there, everything about that city I loved especially the Olympic swimming pool. I even loved the bizzaro pimps and prostitutes that conducted their business outside our hotel window!
I’ve always wanted to do Asia / OZ and now I’m glad to have the opportunity to do it and couldn’t have asked for better travelling companions, hehehe the crazy L & T. I wouldn’t say my passion is travelling (im still not sure what that is!) but I do know every time I experience new countries I always want to see more and value every second of it.
On other things
I like all sports, anything to do with sport, Im hungry for it all!!!
Football is my favourite. I play for the metro all stars but unfortunately to migration we have lost most of the team!
My new favourite love since Saturday is poker, gambling agrees with me and the cards are coming along for the ride.
Also like clubbing and dancing and generally getting my groove on
Preferred foodstuff - banana milkshakes / yogurts / all meat and my old time favourite tuna pasta
Anyway moving on
I’ll be following the girls over at the end of the month. They have 3 weeks on me but ill catch up!! See u in Bangkok girls!
